Polperro is a picturesque fishing village on the SE coast of Cornwall, 4 miles from Looe and 25 miles from Plymouth. Surrounded by farm and National Trust land, it is renowned for it's coastal walks, traffic free streets and quaint cottages. An idyllic holiday retreat, it is well served with several shops, restaurants and pubs. The main line station at Liskeard has regular connections to Looe and Plymouth. There is a beach outside the harbour wall and a natural pool in the rocks at low tide. There are also several beaches along the coast.
Local fishermen provide fishing and pleasure trips and golf courses at St. Mellion, Looe and Carlyon Bay are within easy reach. For cyclists and bird watchers the camel trail is 45 minutes away by car and hikers can enjoy the coastal walks and the Moors. The Eden Project, National Maritime Museum and Lost Gardens of Heligan are all within an hour's drive away.
